Mr. Darrell Lynn Shaw , age 58, of Kingsland, GA passed away from complications due to cancer on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at his residence.
Mr. Shaw was born on August 24th, 1955 in the Midwest. He is the son of the late Donna Stander Knights, who passed away in 2010. Mr. Shaw has lived in Camden County for the last 30 years and was a carpenter, specializing in trim work, for large local contractors, including Gross Construction. Mr. Shaw’s friend and fiancé, Joyce Calabrese, said of him that he was dedicated to his craft. He was an avid Florida Gators fan and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him best.
Mr. Shaw is survived by his fiancé, Joyce Calabrese and his sister, Judy Woods of Hiawassee, Ga.
Along with his mother, Mr. Shaw joins his sister, Roxanne Nicholson Hogshead in Heaven.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
