Raymond Marion Smith, 89, of Kingsland, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. Raymond was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who treasured his family and cherished every moment spent with them. He enjoyed fishing and was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors. Raymond and his wife were charter members of Friendship Baptist Church in Kingsland, where he faithfully served as a deacon for more than 60 years. His faith, dedication to his church, and love for others were a testament to the man he was and the legacy he leaves behind.

Raymond is preceded in death by his parents: Ethan and Ethel; sister: Linda Gail; and brother: Danny.

He is survived by his loving wife: Joyce; daughters: Joy (David) and Lesa (Dale); grandchildren: Tara (Nick), Whitney (Justin), Luke, Tyler, Gehrig, and Jayson (Madeline); great-grandchildren: Haddie, Henry, Bradyn, Oliver and Helen; and sister: Bernell.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at Lawnwood Cemetery in Kingsland, Georgia, with Pastor Steven Buchholtz officiating.
