Winton Lee Robbins, 86, of Woodbine, GA, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at his residence. He was born on April 20, 1940, in Waycross, GA, to the late Eustace Robbins and Roxie Wainwright Robbins.
Mr. Robbins proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. After serving his country he would go on to become a successful business owner. He was the proud owner of the Stardust Lodge and Robbins Grocery. If you spent any time around Mr. Robbins, you learned quickly that he was known for being a hardworking man, that loved his family. Mr. Robbins wanted to be known for the following, “I wish to be remembered as a person who lived without prejudice against race or persons”.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Clinton Robbins, Elwood Robbins, and James Robbins.
He is survived by loving wife of 67 years, Jean Westbury Robbins of Woodbine, GA; his son and daughter-in-law, Randall (Darby) Robbins of White Oak, GA; his daughter and son-in-law, Maria Roxanne (Jerry) Ameral of Virginia; his granddaughter, Sara Jene (Matt) Glennon of Richmond, VA; several nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
